Upcycled Gift Tags
You can buy brown gift tags quite cheaply at a local post office, and then transform them into colourful, creative tags to match any party theme.
Materials
Plain brown gift tags
Colourful or vintage paper (maps, music, or any themed paper of your choice)
Glue
Scissors
Craft knife or hole punch
Method
Untie the string from the gift tag and save for later.
Select your paper and then draw round the plain gift tag. Draw round the circle where you want the hole to be.
Using scissors, or craft knife and ruler, cut out the gift tag shape. Use the craft knife, or hole punch, to cut out the hole for the string.
Glue the paper to the gift tag and leave to dry. Trim any overhangs carefully with your craft knife.
Restring the gift tag. Write your message and attach to your parcel.
