Paint Chip Gift Tags

Paint samples or paint chips come in a variety of colours, and are often free at your local DIY store. They can be used in a variety of ways, but this brand's stripes and huge range of colours lent itself to bauble and Christmas tree gift tags.



Materials
  • Paint chip sample cards in a variety of colours
  • Bauble and Christmas tree templates
  • Pencil
  • Scissors or craft knife
  • Hole punch
  • Ribbon



    • Method
  • If you are creating your own template, then transfer it from tracing paper on to a piece of card and cut out.



  • Draw round the template onto your paint chip sample lightly in pencil.




  • Carefully cut round the template.



  • Using a hole punch, make a hole in the top of the cut out tag.



  • Thread a contrasting or matching ribbon through the hole and tie.



  • Write your message and pop on to your gift.
