Paper Cup Gift Boxes

This is a great trick for creating quick, cheap and fun gift boxes. These are ideal for small gifts or for filling with sweets at children's parties.



You will need:

The first step is to carefully cut off the top rim of the cup. Next, make evenly spaced, angled slices to the top of the cup. It should look like the picture below.



When you have finished making the slices, fold each section down to create the lid for the gift box.



Finally, round off the edges of the by simply cutting the ends into a curve.

Your gift box is now ready to be filled with little gifts or sweets. You can either add a bow to the top or stuff it with tissue paper.



I have used red cups, but there are many other colours and varieties available both online and on the high street.
