Easter Egg Cups

Who said egg cups are just for boiled eggs? When it comes to Easter decorating, egg cups can also be used as a simple addition to an Easter display.



There are many pretty egg cups available these days in homeware stores, and if you look now you'll probably find many are marked down in price with all the other Easter products.

Idea 1 - You can use your egg cup as a holder for candles. I have just used a simple tealight candle.



Idea 2 - You can still use your egg cups for eggs, but instead use decorated eggs. These are decorated polystyrene eggs from a discount shop. They cost very little but look great on display. If you have time, you may prefer to decorate your own eggs for display,



Idea 3 - Decorate your egg cups with flowers. You can use real flowers, store-bought fabric flowers or maybe you have some homemade flowers you can display.



I have a box full of hand made ribbon flowers. It's great to have a reason to display them and they can then be reused for another project when required.





Once you start looking, there are all sorts of things you can display in egg cups. It's a cheap way to decorate using items you probably already have or can purchase cheaply.

I'll be using my egg cup displays as part of a larger Easter display, using painted and decoupaged paper mache bunnies and a simple floral arrangement. I'll be showing more ideas in a separate article.
