Cardboard Tube Gift Box
Recycle an old toilet roll tube and create an interesting gift box. I used a piece of world map wrapping paper to decorate my gift box.
You will need:
Cardboard tube
Glue stick
Wrapping paper or decorative tissue paper
Cup
Pencil
How to make it:
Cover the toilet roll tube with a piece of decorative wrapping paper or patterned tissue paper using a glue stick. I used some nice world map wrapping paper.
Squash the tube flat and crease the edges.
Draw around a cup to draw part of a circle at each end of the flattened tube. The part circle should touch the corners of the flattened tube. Score deeply into the cardboard with the pencil as you draw around the cup so that it will bend easily.
Flip over and do the same on the other side of the flattened tube at both ends.
Carefully press in the edges of the tube along the score lines to create the box. One edge flap should overlap the other to make a closed box.
You can now open the flaps up again and pop in a small gift.
