Create an elegant and simple centerpiece easily using materials you already have on hand! Split peas are readily available at any grocery store or in your pantry and add a great touch of green to a table.

Vase

Materials:
Split peas
Vase
Candle

Vase

Method:
Rinse and sort your split peas. I found that there were quite a few yellow peas in my package and I did not want any extra debris so the rinsing seemed necessary.

drying peas

Let dry. I put mine on a baking tray and put them in the oven after cooking a roast to let them dry right out.
Pour into a vase.

Vase

Put in your candle.
Adourn your table!

These would be a great budget friendly and easy wedding centerpiece!
