Paint Chip Gift Tags

Paint samples or paint chips come in a variety of colours, and are often free at your local DIY store. They can be used in a variety of ways, but this brand's stripes and huge range of colours lent itself to bauble and Christmas tree gift tags.

Materials
Paint chip sample cards in a variety of colours
Bauble and Christmas tree templates
Pencil
Scissors or craft knife
Hole punch
Ribbon

Method
If you are creating your own template, then transfer it from tracing paper on to a piece of card and cut out.

Draw round the template onto your paint chip sample lightly in pencil.

Carefully cut round the template.

Using a hole punch, make a hole in the top of the cut out tag.

Thread a contrasting or matching ribbon through the hole and tie.

Write your message and pop on to your gift.
