On a recent visit to Sogndal in Norway I had the chance to visit the Hogskulebygget building. It's a very stylish wood, concrete and glass construction, nestled amongst the mountains by the fjords. I was particularly taken with the bronze Oppdagingar figures perching outside throughout the grounds and in unusual corners inside the building.

Hogskulebygget building
The 50 figures, each measuring up to 20cm tall, were made by artist Trine Hovden.
They are very dynamic - spot figures climbing around corners, peering over the edges of stone benches or dipping their toes into rainwater pools in a rock.
I'd like one for my own garden.
