If you have some succulent plants, you find they are very easy to grow and to be taken care of. They are quite tolerant and tough to different weather conditions. When you want to trim a larger plant, just cut some small parts with stem and root or without root, they will easily regrow again.
If you have some little sauce or jam bottles, don't throw away once they are empty. Clean and just put a bit soil in the jar, insert new succulent cuttings to the soil, place some little things such as rocks, sea shells or even costume jewellery on top as additional decoration as well as mulch. They can easily grow into new lovely miniature plants. Frequent watering is not required.
Place them by the windows or somewhere that have infused daylight at your home or office and give yourself some pleasure and energies with such tough and gorgeous miniature plants.
Another idea is to get some wire to make hangers for the little jars. Hang them outdoors or indoors. For me, I made use of some dead branches and arranged them in a vase/pot. The branches were trimmed from a big tree in my backyard. Then I have hung those little miniature plants on them. During Christmas, I also added extra decorations. They look so pretty and cute.
Give some to your friends as a little surprise they will definitely appreciate.
