Create a kitchen keepsake of your child's artwork by embroidering drawings onto tea towels, cushions, pillowcases or other soft furnishings.

To do this, you will need:
Materials

Supplies
Fabric (tea towel, cushion etc)
Baking paper or tracing paper
Step 1 Trace over your chosen drawing using baking paper or tracing paper and a pen.

Step 2 Pin your traced drawing onto your chosen spot on your fabric.

Step 3 Use your embroidery needle and thread to back stitch a straight line right along your traced drawing, straight through your pinned baking paper and fabric.

Step 4 Once finished, tie and cut your loose ends of embroidery thread on the back of your fabric.

Step 5 Gently pull away your baking or tracing paper, use tweezers to get little pieces out if necessary.
