Give a quick and easy update to a piece of furniture by decorating your own cupboard knobs.
Materials
Wooden cupboard knobs - preferably with a flat(ish) front.
Decorative tissue paper or other thin wrapping paper
Mod Podge (or try diluted PVA glue)

Decorating some pine cupboard knobs gives a cheap update to a cupboard or chest or drawers
Method
Paint the wooden knobs with acrylic paint and allow to dry.
Cut a disc out of the decorative tissue paper to fit on the front of the cupboard knob.
Apply a layer of Mod Podge (or PVA glue) over the painted cupboard knob.
Fix the disc of tissue paper onto the centre of the cupboard knob and gently press out any wrinkles or bubbles.
Allow to dry then add another layer of Mod Podge (or varnish) to seal.
Unscrew the existing cupboard knobs and replace with your creation.
