Materials
Wooden dolly pegs
Acrylic paint
Spray varnish
Masking tape (optional)

Method
Paint the wooden pegs with the acrylic paint. You could paint them a uniform colour or try different patterns such as stripes.
Try using masking tape to make a neat line if you're making stripes.

If you're using the pegs as markers in a vegetable bed, tie a length of garden twine around the necks of two pegs and press them into the soil to mark out the seed drill.
